About Us
Suizawa-cho, which is located Yokkaichi-city, Mie prefecture at the base of Suzuka mountains have made teas since early times and is famous for good quality Kabusecha. Also Mie prefecture is proud of making the most amount of tea following Shizuoka and Kagoshima. Hagiwara Seicha makes 350 tons of items in a year and we are proud of our amount and scale of production of Aracha. We also make “Kabusecha”, “Mogacha”, ”Gyabaroncha”, ”Japanese black tea” other than “Tencha”, which is the basic ingredient of Matcha and our main product. Also we do not only Aracha making process but also final product process, and we can do tea cultivating, packing and tea bag making all in our facilities. Basic idea
We will contribute to the realization of a healthy society by delivering safe and secure food to our customers and having them use or eat with peace of mind. To this end, we will establish and maintain a food safety management system based on the international standard FSSC 22000, continuously improve it, and strive to always provide safe and secure products to our customers.
Food Safety Policy
- In order to ensure product safety, we will build and maintain a food safety management system based on HACCP and continuously improve our manufacturing and sales processes.
- We will conduct corporate management with an emphasis on compliance and build and maintain a system that prevents accidents due to mistakes in management decisions, such as food fraud (VACCP).
- We regularly conduct internal communication activities such as meetings and management reviews for food safety to motivate all employees and strive to create a system to prevent food defense accidents (TACCP).
- We will comply with the Food Safety Policy, food-related laws and regulations, and mutually agreed upon food safety requirements of our customers. Therefore, we only deal with parties that comply with the relevant laws and regulations along with the food safety policy, and confirm the appropriateness by evaluating suppliers.
- This policy will be disseminated, implemented, and maintained by all employees, including part-time workers, and will be reviewed from time to time to maintain its appropriateness. In addition, we will actively engage in internal communication activities such as general training and management reviews for food safety.
- We will actively communicate with outside the company so that necessary responses and information cannot be obtained.
- For employees involved in food safety, we will conduct competency assessments and ensure appropriate competencies to ensure food safety by continuously conducting education.
- Each department sets food safety targets consistent with this policy, implements specific policy development, conducts reviews, and reviews them as needed.
